Can't believe I posted this on the 30th like I should have. Also can't believe I forgot about this LJ. Damn.
I hit 50k in one month! Wooooo!
Not much longer till the book is done either. Which is awesome. |

Working on chapter 4, where I finally establish the main villain and what will be the conflict of the story. Coming out rather nicely. Hoping to get to 14,000 tonight, maybe even break that.
Question: I'm thinking of trying to get my book published after nanowrimo and such (Possibly by using lulu.com). So I'm just looking for response: Would people buy it, and spread the word so more people buy it? I really wanna get my stuff read by as many people as possible. |

It took a little, but I finally figured out where I wanted to take the third chapter. Close to 9,000 words now, hoping to get myself to 12,000 tonight.
Of course, I will have an excerpt of said chapter later tonight. |

| Nanowrimo book summary! |

Hey all! This is where I'll be posting bits and pieces of my Nanowrimo novel, tentatively titled the Infinite Grimoire.
Here's the summary.
S'pose I should give out the summary of my idea, eh?
Title: The infinite grimoire (Tentative title)
Genre: Modern day fantasy/comedy
Summary: Though we've constantly split ourselves over the matter, the fact of the matter is, nearly all religions were correct - to a point.
That point being, we at least got the names right.
Heaven actually operates very much like an office - God is the number 1 boss, manager, and our omnipotent leader. However, despite being omnipotent, he is not all-efficient. He has an entire universe to look over, messiahs to individually craft for new planets with other intelligent life, divine judgment, so on, and so forth. So, then comes god's employees to take care of the other work. From the asgardian god Thor to the Egyptian god Anubis, they all work under him/her/it. And they keep everything going. Also much being like an office, they can be promoted, demoted, or in the case of Zeus (For far too many infractions to list), fired. Even new gods can be created, usually in the Asgardian sector.
The kingdom of heaven is wildly different than any could imagine...a disenfranchised Lucifer now has weekly therapy sessions and a soda machine in his office that only dispenses Tab. Zeus is an alcoholic rivalling even Dionysus' binges who can't get over being thrown out by his wife, Hera. And on the kingdom of heaven goes, with it's own troubles and personal turmoils - so much of it mirred with the problems of our own planet.
Main character: Athena, greek goddess of wisdom and war. A smart, intuitive woman with a rather short fuse. As conflicts begin to rise rapidly on both Earth and among the pantheon, she is called upon to quell threats, mediate conflicts, and even be forced to teach.
Setting: Modern day, once again. Write what you know and all.
